2026 HS Boys Basketball “Eagles for a Cause”
"Eagles for a Cause" was launched with the aim of backing an organization or cause through our athletic programs. This enables our student-athletes to make a positive impact on the community. Each athletic team selects a cause to emphasize and support during one of their contests in the respective seasons. A percentage of the earnings from concessions and apparel sales is then contributed to the chosen organization.
Below are details of our High School Boys Basketball “Eagles for a Cause” event coming up:
When: February 12th | JV/Varsity Boys Basketball
· JV @ 6:15 PM vs. Granville Christian
· Varsity @ 7:45 PM vs. Granville Christian
What: Support the HS Boys Basketball team as they raise awareness for sepsis.
Why: To bring awareness to sepsis and to support the Begin Again Foundation, whose mission is to save lives through sepsis and toxic shock syndrome education and awareness, provide financial assistance to survivors and families, and support communities during times of crisis.
How can you support?
o Attend the games
o Purchase an Eagles for a Cause apparel item
A portion of the proceeds will go to the "Begin Again Foundation" through the Muessig Golf Invitational.
Items must be ordered by Wednesday, January 28 | 11:59 PM.
2026 Lady Eagles "Eagles for a Cause"
“Eagles for a Cause” was begun a few years ago for the purpose of supporting an organization or a cause through our athletic programs, allowing our student-athletes to have a positive impact on our community. Athletic teams choose a cause to be highlighted and supported at one of the contests during their respective seasons. A portion of the proceeds from concessions and apparel sales are donated to the organization.
Below are details of our Lady Eagles basketball “Eagles for a Cause” event coming up:
When: February 13 | Varsity Girls Basketball at MCS @ 7:30 PM vs. Berne Union
What: Support the Varsity Lady Eagles as they raise awareness for autism.
Why: To bring awareness to autism and to support Bridgeway Academy (located in Columbus).
Bridgeway Academy is a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire the potential and celebrate the ability of every child with many types of special needs and specifically autism.
How can you support?
· Attend the game.
· Purchase an Eagles for a Cause apparel item. Must be purchased by Wednesday, January 28, 2026 11:59PM.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the “Bridgeway Academy” and provide many more opportunities for the children who attend there.
